Gujarat Energy Development Agency is offering subsidy on Domestic Solar hot water systems meant for domestic use. The scheme offers a subsidy amount as follows:

a) 100/150 lpd NRG Solar hot water system - you can avail Rs. 3500 as subsidy from GEDA

b) 200/250/300 lpd NRG Solar hot water system - you can avail Rs. 7000 as subsidy from GEDA

All you have to do is come to us with an original electricity bill of your residence, where you wish to install the solar hot water system and fill in the GEDA Subsidy form which is available with us. The rest of the procedure will be taken care of by us and you get the solar hot water system after deducting the subsidy amount. The subsidy amount will be claimed by us from GEDA and you need not worry about it. We will arrange and take care of everything on your behalf!

*Scheme is valid only in the state of Gujarat till 15th March, 2008

MNRE is offering an interest subsidy to all users of solar hot water systems through leading nationalized banks. The scheme is as follows:

a) You need to take a valid quotation from NRG to a participating bank, who will check their list to see approved manufacturers and then fill out their standard loan application forms and go through their loan procedure.

b) MNRE offers highly reduced interest rates to direct consumers - domestic users are eligible for an interest of 2% p.a., non-profitable institutions/charitable trusts are eligible for 3% p.a. while commercial establishments/industries are eligible for loans as low as 5% p.a. on a reducing balance!
